The Architect Behind Drake’s C$100 Million Toronto Mansion Designed This Newly Listed Muskoka ‘Castle’
Set on Lake Rosseau, two hours north of Toronto in Ontario’s Muskoka region, the six-bedroom, eight-bathroom hilltop estate was conceived by Ferris Rafauli, who also drew up Wayne Gretzky’s Brantford, Ontario, spread.
If Kendrick Lamar really wanted to get under Drake’s skin, he could buy this castle-like manor created by the same architect who designed his rival’s Bridle Path mansion in Toronto. The mansion hit the market last week for C$22.99 million (US$16.89 million). “This isn’t a cottage. It’s a castle,” said Claudine Montano of Corcoran Horizon Real Estate, the listing agent. “For Ferris, this was a masterpiece. And it was so challenging to build in this natural setting that he’s not going to create another one like it.”
