Dane Kerstens brings a dedicated and strategic focus to commercial real estate, with particular expertise in the industrial sector. While his primary concentration is industrial assets, he is highly knowledgeable across a wide range of commercial disciplines, including land valuation and development, an uncommon strength for an emerging agent. Prior to transitioning into brokerage, Dane spent over a decade actively acquiring and disposing of commercial real estate in the Hamilton market with a private company. He has played a key role in approximately $700 million in transactions, developing deep expertise in commercial mortgages and environmental due diligence. Both continue to inform his analytical and detail driven approach. Born and raised in Whitby and having lived in Hamilton and Guelph for over 15 years, Dane offers clients a strong understanding of both the eastern and western Greater Toronto Area markets. An avid traveler, he brings a global perspective and curiosity to his work, enhancing his ability to identify opportunities and think creatively on behalf of his clients. Dane holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Guelph and is currently pursuing an MBA in International Real Estate from the University of Regensburg in Munich, Germany, with expected completion in June 2027. His graduate research focuses on Ontario’s Places to Grow Act and the Greenbelt, examining the role of environmental protection measures in master planning policy. Inspired by the high standard of client service he experienced firsthand, Dane was drawn to Corcoran’s people first philosophy and entrepreneurial approach. He is passionate about helping shape a growing commercial presence within the brand, offering tailored solutions that reflect the unique needs of each client, all backed by a commitment to integrity, insight, and results.
